In spite of less than perfect weather, an intrepid group of mums and their daughters enjoyed an unorthodox Mother's Day treat on Sunday when they got together for a morning of fun, non-contact activities followed by a game of touch rugby.

In fact, on the day it wasn't just mums and daughters but dads, brothers and nanas all got involved in the fun too.  And, fortune favouring the brave, they wrapped up the fun before the rain really hit.

We've got one of the North West's fastest-growing girls rugby sections right here at Firwood Waterloo.  If you know a girl who might want to give rugby a go them contact Jenna on 07896 610276.
