It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of John Hall. A member for many years, John was a much-loved former teacher at Forefield Junior School in Crosby, where he continued to help out with reading classes and ran the chess club, even after his retirement. He will be greatly missed at the club and in the wider community. We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him.
