Huge congratulations are in order for two former Waterloo players finally awarded England caps by the RFU.

Proving that good things come to those who wait, Dave Carfoot and Peter Buckton were awarded caps retrospectively for significant representative England fixtures they played in 1977 and 1986 respectively, now recognised as full internationals.

David was a dynamic scrum half during the 1970s and 1980s and a great servant of the Club. Peter has been a fixture here as both player, captain, coach and brilliant supporter of rugby at the Club.

Congratulations again to both.
