It is with regret that the Club has to announce news of the passing of one of our former players, Frank Gosling, who died this week at his home in Canada. For those who did not know him, Frank was responsible for holding up the scrum at tight head for the Club during the 1960s and schooling in the front row arts the likes of a young Dennis Bowman, who has passed the sad news onto us.
Although life took him across the Atlantic he remained in touch with his former teammates and those on the 1990 tour to Canada and USA will fondly remember his hospitality in hosting the entire tour party at his farm for a day during that trip.
On behalf of everyone at the Club we would pass on our condolences to his family for their loss and are sure they will cherish a life well lived.
