We have been competing against our good friends Dublin Wanderers for Percy since 1935 and there is currently a blank spot on the wall of our players’ bar.  Percy is not in his rightful place as we ceded him when we last played a few years back.  Click on the link to see what our friends at Wanderers had to say about that https://www.wanderers.ie/juniors-bring-percy-home/

We have been invited to compete for Percy as part of Wanderers’ 150th anniversary celebrations over Easter 2020 (10-13 April).  They are planning a series of events throughout the season and we are delighted to be involved.

We are hoping to send two teams – a ‘competitive’ one to regain Percy and, how shall we say this, a more ‘social team’.   And what a great opportunity to sample some of the black stuff which always tastes better when it doesn’t have to travel too far.

It has been quite a few years since we had a tour so we need to start planning now.  To gauge potential interest at this early stage, could anyone who might be interested please send an email to waterlooprojects@gmail.com with an indication of how many travellers would be in your party.  It would be helpful to receive this by the end of April 2019.
