Pre season has commenced this week with in excess of fifty five players attending on both sessions.

A mixture of new players, experienced players, senior colts, 1st team players, 2nd and 3rd team players. An overwhelming willingness to get the graft of fitness done but also engage with the skills put before them.

It is a pleasure to be with a coaching team that is working very hard to adapt around the RFU's guidelines that currently have us at Phase B and only able to coach a maximum of six players in anyone group.

We have adapted by running two sessions per evening splitting the total number of players in two.  As frustrating as it is wanting to have players engaged in rugby related games, it is also a great benefit in having players in small groups to provide specific coaching elements to their play.

If any of the club's junior rugby coaches want to come down and shadow a senior coach during these sessions, please get in touch and we will be happy to assist.
