Sharks forces is the Sharks community trust veterans program. It works with ex armed forces personnel through a range of activities on transitioning to civilian life, increasing social and physical activity and providing a support network for the individual and their family. The program is delivered by Craig Monaghan, a medically retired soldier who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Craig initially was a beneficiary of the program. He plays rugby for England deaf and Bowdon RUFC. The program since its launch in October 2016 has worked with over 600 ex-armed forces personnel and their families.
