If you have hedge cutters and loppers, prepare to use them now (with apologies to the bard)

Building on the success of our NatWest weekend, we need just one more day to add the finishing sparkles to The Memorial Ground.  You can see the before and after photos from that weekend here.

On 27th July we'll cut back the hedges that reduce the size of the parking spaces on the left as you enter, tidy the border in front of the office and have a general tidy around the pitch.  If we all break the waste up into small bits, we can bag it ready to be recycled.

And we are delighted that cadets from our charity of the year 2019-20, 1128 Crosby Squadron ATC have kindly volunteered to paint the white posts around the pitch - thank you so much guys.  We are looking forward to working with you and this is a fab start.

The estimable Chef Paul Weare will provide lunch (bacon and sausage butties) and keep us hydrated.  For catering purposes, please confirm your attendance, plus any dietary requirements to Pete Cureton waterlooprojects@gmail.com.  Ta

We realise that this is in school holiday time and many of you may be away, but those of you who are around, please come down in with your gardening tools and gloves, plus hat and sunblock (or waterproofs!).  Together we will make a real difference.
