I am aware that some members are still having problems receiving the weekly emails.

To resolve this, I have had LONG exchanges with the RFU and they assure us that all emails to members for whom we have an email address were successfully SENT from the RFU server.  So far so good!  However, they go on to say that they have no control over DELIVERY protocols.  Some members report that the emails always go into the junk folder and some do not receive them at all.

If you still do not receive the emails, there may be a couple of ways to help resolve the issue.  Firstly, you could follow the instructions below to add the club email as a ‘safe sender’.  There are specific instructions for different email facilities.

Or, in your email app you can go into Settings and search for Filters.  Then if you set a new filter for emails from waterloomembership@gmail.com you should see the option to click “Never send it to spam”.

Here’s how it looks on my computer using gmail

Please do let me know if problems persist.  I’m no techie (and if any of our members are, can you please help), but I’m happy to hold a ‘surgery’ at our club in the evening if you bring your device down.  Please let me know if this is of interest – email waterloomembership@gmail.com
